January 14, 2021 marked the 50th anniversary of KXCV going on-air for the first time so we'll be celebrating our first 50 years all of 2021.

Every Thursday at 9:08am we'll bring our listeners a new morning series called Birthday Conversations, where we talk to KXCV-KRNW alumni who share stories of their experiences at the station.

On this week's Birthday Conversations, KXCV-KRNW station manager John Coffey sits down with KXCV-KRNW alumn Sharon Bonnett.

Bonnett talks about her journey at the station that started in 1972 as a traffic supervisor and finished as station manager in 2008.
